At the end of the 18th century and during the 19th century, European artists were delighted with a world of fantasies of what they knew from the East, inspired by stories, tales, and experiences that were in part the result of the Napoleonic conquest that began in Algeria in 1830, this new window on the southern Mediterranean opened a gap of inspiration for mainly French artists, years later they called this pictorial movement Orientalism.

Throughout the nineteenth century, this theme offered the opportunity to sublimate and eroticize the female body, this in effect gave rise to all the daring, fantasies and lascivious odalisques of pearly flesh and appetizing roundness lying negligently on comfortable and couches between fumes from the bathroom and became a characteristic of European painting ...

Inspired by this movement as a contemporary gay artist, I decided to re-write this movement, calling it Neo-Homorientalism, which sought to represent the eroticized male figure as the main protagonist of the scene, using elements and themes visualized in the works of the orientalist artists of the 19th century. with my own painting technique as a point of view about diversity.

No final do século 18 e durante o século 19, os artistas europeus se deliciaram com um mundo de fantasias do que conheceram do Oriente, inspirado por histórias, contos e experiências que foram em parte o resultado da conquista napoleônica que começou na Argélia em 1830, esta nova janela no sul do Mediterrâneo abriu uma lacuna de inspiração para artistas principalmente franceses, anos depois eles chamaram esse movimento pictórico de Orientalismo.

Ao longo do século XIX, este tema ofereceu a oportunidade de sublimar e erotizar o corpo feminino, o que de fato deu origem a todas as ousadas, fantasias e odaliscas lascivas de carne perolada e redondezas apetitosas repousando negligentemente em confortáveis ​​sofás entre fumaças do banheiro e se tornou uma caracteristica da pintura europeia ...

Inspirado nesse movimento como artista gay contemporâneo, decidi reescrever esse movimento, chamando-o de Neo-Homorientalismo, que busca representar a figura masculina erotizada como principal protagonista da cena, utilizando elementos e temas visualizados nas obras de os artistas orientalistas do século XIX, sob minha própria técnica de pintura como um ponto de vista sobre a diversidade.
